CRM & Engagement Coordinator

Independent contractor role. 20 hours/week for 3 months. Remote, working in EST hours.

Good work deserves good systems.

Four Simple Words needs someone to own our CRM and social presence.

Right now, our sales process is informal and founder-led. We have good work, strong frameworks, and clients who love what we do. What we do not have is a consistent rhythm of outreach, follow-up and storytelling. That is where you come in. We are looking for someone who has set up and meaningfully improved a CRM and knows the ins and outs of these beasts.

This is a contract role with the potential to grow into something bigger as we do. In the first 30-60 days, you will focus on CRM selection and setup. Once the system is live, your time shifts toward content rhythm and pipeline follow-up.

What You Will Own

  • CRM setup and ongoing management: build a system that tracks prospects, surfaces follow-ups and keeps the pipeline visible
  • Social presence: gather content from our team, create posts and video and schedule content that tells our story consistently on LinkedIn
  • Follow-up: make sure warm conversations do not go cold because we got busy

In 3 Months We Want

  • A CRM (that you have helped us choose and set up) is alive and driving decisions
  • Our LinkedIn presence is consistent, growing awareness and top line
  • Warm leads are getting timely follow-up
  • You and the founder have a working rhythm that feeds you both and company growth

Help Us Build an Engine To Tell Our Story

This role lives at the intersection of systems and storytelling. You will build the CRM that keeps our pipeline visible and create the content rhythm that keeps us top of mind. Different muscles, same goal: making sure good conversations turn into real work. This is an independent contractor role. You will invoice us every two weeks and we will pay within 48 hours. You will work approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling within EST business hours. The hourly rate is $38 to $45 CAD depending on experience. The initial contract runs three months with the opportunity to extend or grow from there. You bring the hardware. We supply access to the tools we choose together.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • organized, self-directed and have CRM tool experience
  • comfortable with outbound outreach and the rhythm of follow-up
  • good with technology (including video editing) and curious about AI tools
  • able to write clearly and sound human doing it
  • steady when things are slow and responsive when they move fast

About Our Work

Four Simple Words exists because we believe people do their best work when they feel like they matter. That belief shapes everything we do. We help organizations build cultures where people choose to stay, managers feel supported and AI adoption happens with clarity rather than anxiety. Our two frameworks, the Mattering Mindset and the +ai Mindset, give leaders practical tools to make that real. If you are drawn to service, energized by impact and want to be part of something that puts people at the center, we would love to hear from you.

How to Apply

You can apply at this Typeform.

You will be asked to upload your CV and answer the reflective questions below. Save your cover letter for those who want generic mush. We want to hear your voice, so if you are using AI, you had better make sure it knows who you are.

  • Tell us about a time you built or improved a process or system. What did you learn about yourself?
  • We are too quiet right now. If you had access to our three thought leaders, a phone, a ring light and permission to experiment, how would you use video to help us get noticed?
  • What makes remote work successful for you, and how do you know when you are doing your best work?

Thank you for your interest. We will acknowledge every submission received by EoD on January 23/26 and will be in touch directly with those we would like to continue the conversation with. As a token of our thanks for your time, here is the pretty darn great playlist we like to kick our sessions off with. Good music that, like our work, puts people first.
