Follow-up sessions for each stream are delivered virtually for up to 90 minutes. (Exact session length will depend upon the group energy and needs of each conversation). Sessions must be booked as a suite of training, not individually. Client is responsible for arranging meeting technology and scheduling. We recommend each session be delivered no more than 1 month apart.

Amplify Your Learning & Impact

Listen to Curt reflect on the power of DiSC as tool to start DEI conversations.

Proximity starts with personal awareness. A DiSC session will give your team tools and language to step into DEI conversations with grace and curiosity.

As a way to better understand ourselves, DiSC allows individuals to reflect on our own unique strengths, weaknesses and express how we want to be acknowledged and heard. The authenticity and understanding that comes from this collective reflection allows teams to share their wonders and worries about DEI through a common language. All DEI journeys start with finding proximity and DiSC is an extremely effective way to allow your team to connect in a way that will improve your communications, clarify goals and humanize your DEI explorations.

Book a DiSC session and one of our DEI training streams and save 10% on both.

Lets (Really) Connect

Equity begins the moment we become proximate to those around us. Proximity comes from the Latin adjective prope meaning ‘near’. When we are near to others we have the opportunity (and responsibility) to see, hear and feel alongside those who are different.

Proximity matters to organizations at the beginning of their equity journey and those who are years into building inclusive practices. We share this suite of training ideas as a way to explore how to empower your team and re-imagine processes to get proximate to those voices you want to better connect with.

Training That Works

We have seen how facilitation can change the world…literally. We have facilitated thousands of meaningful processes (which have ranged in length from hours to months) and meetings (which have ranged from 30 minutes to multiple days). Regardless of how you are defining success, we will make sure your time, energy and resources are focused on what your team wants to accomplish.

Keeping It Fun

We’re big fans of courageous conversations and think they are the key to helping organizations identify and step into healthy conflict. When it comes to online or in-person meetings, we don’t like to sit for long and don’t ask our clients to do so either. Creativity, consensus and decision-making flow more naturally and create better decisions when meetings involve a mix of individual, small and large group work.

Focused on Outcome

Great meeting (and process) facilitation requires a few simple and powerful tools. The first is clarity. Clarity on why people are giving their time and energy to come together is foundational for a successful meeting. This understanding allows the entire group to take responsibility and ownership for outcomes, reduces output confusion and allows participants to see their role in next steps.

Another trait of great facilitation is listening. As professional listeners, it is our job to understand what is really being said and use our skills and courage to follow the energy and (real) needs of the group. Equally important, we create spaces of authentic listening and dialogue where individuals, organizations and communities are comfortable so they can share what is important.

Finally, great facilitation demands spaces where attendees feel proximate to one another, whether they be in the same room or a random square on a screen. By creating opportunities for individual and collective reflective learning, we can build spaces that are inclusive, empathetic and focused on common outcomes.
